Lori Collins, PsyD.

Psychotherapist

Dr. Lori Collins earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Psychology and has been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years. Working as a colleague with Dr. Paicius in his medical practice the past 6 years, she comprehends the profound effects of chronic pain on a person’s quality of life. Aside from the physical suffering, people living with chronic pain are at heightened risk for psychological problems, including depression, anxiety, increased stress levels and negative personality effects. Understandably, these mental health issues are deeply interwoven with Dr. Collins’ professional experience and knowledge base.

A significant treatment option utilized in Dr. Paicius’ medical practice, ketamine infusions, has been shown to reduce suffering in those with treatment resistant depression and chronic pain. Dr. Collins provides pre-ketamine consultations for these patients, including what to expect, basic neurochemistry processes of the brain while experiencing the ketamine infusion, as well as the stellar care of the medical staff during treatment.
